We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to combine viral based neural circuit tracing and imaging in the visual system of mice. The successful candidate will join the laboratory of Karl Farrow, where viral based neural circuit tracing, electrophysiological and advanced imaging techniques are used to determine the how information is routed in visual system to guide behavior.
The laboratory is part of Neuro-electronics Research Flanders (NERF, www.nerf.be), a joint research initiative of the VIB, imec and KU Leuven.
Candidates are expected to have a degree in life sciences, physical sciences or engineering, with a strong interest in neuroscience. Prior experience in electrophysiology, in vivo imaging, animal behavior, or computer science is an advantage.
Positions are available starting March 1st, 2017.
Applications should include a short statement of interest, CV and 2-3 contacts for references.
Enquiries may be made to Karl Farrow, email: email@example.com
