BioProcess International Conference

September 21-24, 2020 | Online

In bioprocessing as well as cell therapies, process analytical technologies (PAT) are essential for process monitoring and quality control. However, finding PAT tools that are fast and precise, robust and cost-effective is still a challenge. Compact and integrated on-chip technologies can help to answer those needs. And they offer additional benefits such as reduced need for sampling and the possibility of continuous monitoring of multiple parameters. During this talk, we will present novel concepts that could revolutionize bioprocess control, such as miniaturized liquid sensors, on-chip Raman spectrometers, lens-free imaging microscopes and rapid contaminant detection and identification.
