At the upcoming SPIE BIOS Imec and Genalyte Inc are showcasing a disposable silicon-photonics biosensor chips to be used in Genalyte’s diagnostic and molecular detection equipment. The chips combine imec’s standard silicon photonic waveguide devices with bio-compatible modifications jointly developed by imec and Genalyte. These chips allow for high levels of multiplexed biosensing due to the high integration level of Si photonics. Come visit us at the SPIE Bios booth.

At booth 8137 at SPIE Bios, imec will present its lens-free imaging, cytometry, Raman spectroscopy and general life science offering. We will also showcase the CARDIS prototype device for mobile early-stage cardiovascular disease diagnosis and monitoring.
