In addition to its office in the Big Apple, BelCham has opened a second office in the Bay area, home to Silicon Valley.
As a founding partner, imec has secured a desk at this new office space in San Francisco which is now available for all companies in imec’s (post-) imec.istart portfolio. Next to free use of this desk, imec portfolio companies can benefit from a number of BelCham services.
The same offer is available for NY.

Start-ups who plan a US trip can get:

- Support and advice from BelCham on the practical organization of your trip
During your US residence your start-up gets:

As an independent, non-profit organization with headquarters in New York City, BelCham (Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce) seeks to promote bilateral business relations between the United States and Belgium, unleash Belgian entrepreneurship, and connect like-minded professionals through networking events, referral services, and job placement. Imec is one of the founding partners of this initiative.
Additionally, BelCham offers an array of lectures, workshops, and mentoring opportunities that provide continuing education and practical experience for recent college graduates and seasoned professionals alike.
In June 2016, Belcham opened a second co-working space in the US:
“Atelier in the Bay” after the successful launch of the Atelier in New York, a little over 2 years ago. In similar fashion, the Bay Area version of Atelier will pave the way for Belgian companies looking to expand their activities in the US, creating economic growth and employment for Belgium in the process.
