TV screens the favorite, but smartphones come in at #2 for video content

In 2016, the Flemish population continued to prefer consuming video and TV content on a television screen, regardless of source, with streaming and downloading very popular. The smartphone comes in at second place for video content consumption, and is particularly popular among younger Flemings, who tend to use many screens. YouTube, social media and news sites continue to be vital sources of video content. However, fewer people are using apps on their smart TVs, simply because smart TVs are replacing classic TVs in many households.
