September 18, 2020 | Online
We are pleased to invite you to the closing event of TWILL-BIPV – our imec.icon research project dedicated to more efficient, affordable, scalable and aesthetically attractive solar panels – taking place on September 18 as an online event.
Photovoltaics are already widely & successfully integrated. However, PV technology needs to be further optimized to meet the energy needs of the future.
The TWILL-BIPV project tackles these challenges by developing an innovative cell interconnection technology for bifacial solar cells, leading to lower costs, scalable manufacture and higher efficiency. Funded by VLAIO, Innoviris and imec, the project team gathers Soltech, VdSWeaving, IPTE and Arkema as partners.
Our online closing event will feature research results and demonstration of a proof-of-concept BIPV module using multi-wire interconnection technology and automated PV module assembly approaches. (More details in our program below.)
14.00 Opening keynote – Gaëtan Masson, Managing Director at Becquerel Institute
14.15 TWILL-BIPV project overview
14.45 Q&A with the presenters and project team
