Device Engineer of III-V image sensors

Currently we are looking for a motivated Device Engineer of III-V image sensors.
IMEC CMORE Technologies department offers companies to develop and fabricate customized specialty microsystems that cannot be produced in standard CMOS technology. To do this, we have added platforms for processing of various CMOS imagers – hyperspectral, backside illuminated, embedded CCD-, MEMS and NEMS, photonics, and microfluidics chips. We are able to tune our technology to the demands of the customer and develop the technology flow for both prototypes and low-volume production.
You will be working in IMEC’s Advanced Imager Integration (AII) as process integration engineer. Our team aims to innovative imager technologies for diverse fields and applications.
You will be responsible for:
- Defining innovative device architecture;
- Defining process conditions and process flow using TCAD simulations;
- Defining test structures to assess device performances;
- Interpreting electrical data and providing feedbacks to Integration;
- Defining plans and following them up;
- Reporting project status to management and customers;
We appreciate your Master’s or PhD degree, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role and preferably in an industrial environment. We value your deep knowledge in Device physics and experience in TCAD Simulations and Semiconductor Technology. Your strong organization & planning skills are a huge added value to us. Your ability to communicate complex problems in a manner that also non-experts can understand, is a plus. Since you will be working in a highly international environment and will be maintaining a good contact with colleagues and customers, fluency in English is essential.
