The successful introduction of robotics (everything between robot taxis and household robots that do your laundry) will depend highly on the availability of reliable multi-sensor solutions that allow them to safely move around in our cities and homes. At imec, we are preparing these systems, built around our advanced RADAR, LiDAR and vision sensor technologies, and leveraging our neuro-inspired edge-AI sensing architectures.
The radar sensing team at imec is looking for a digital IC designer to help create our next generations of radar systems and event-based AI chips, building further on three generations of IC’s. Our highly multidisciplinary team has experts in sensor technology, signal processing, machine learning and robotics.
As an independent research center, we collaborate closely with top players in both industry and academia, giving our people a continuous exposure to both the latest evolutions in industrial challenges and approaches, as well as into the newest emerging academic ideas and paradigms.
We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. With your talent, passion and expertise, you’ll become part of a team that makes the impossible possible. Together, we shape the technology that will determine the society of tomorrow.
We are committed to being an inclusive employer and proud of our open, multicultural, and informal working environment with ample possibilities to take initiative and show responsibility. We commit to supporting and guiding you in this process; not only with words but also with tangible actions.
