Business Development Director
What you will do
You will lead the Business Development team of IC-link in North America and will coordinate the activities to grow the business further. This includes carrying out effective people management and supporting the team in maintaining a good relationship with existing customers and partners. You will put in place a strong sales plan based on imec IC-link's strategy and objectives and ensure that the commercial pipeline is expanded. You will also hire people to grow the team as the business grows. You will report to the Business Development Director in charge of the IC-link business worldwide.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Ø Execute and translate IC-link strategy into a local sales-plan. Coordinate sales actions in the US so that IC-link business objectives are reached or even exceeded
Ø Manage the relations with our local customer base, and key partners
o Manage and coordinate the actions of a team of Business Development Managers of IC-link North America, for maximum business impact
o Ensure efficient execution and timely customer support by the team as well as by other departments
o Business Reporting of the team on a continuous basis (weekly reports, forecast, CRM...)
Ø Ensure good collaboration between the US BD team and HQ in Belgium and other local teams
Ø Gather market information & trends and keep the organization updated on competition
Ø Cooperate with imec R&D divisions to stimulate cross-selling
Ø Support the marcom activity in collaboration with the Marketing team

Who you are
Ø You have 10+ years of experience in semiconductor sales including ASIC or ASIC services
Ø You are an experienced manager able to inspire your team and get the best out of each of your team member
Ø You have a (nation) wide network in the semiconductor industry (customers and partners)
Ø Your background includes P&L responsibility
Ø Having knowledge of the start-up and VC world in North America is an advantage
Ø You possess the ability to attract and retain the best talents
Ø You are structured and to the point in your reporting
Ø You have a Master in EE or equivalent by experience
Ø You are used to work in widely international companies and have a very developed intercultural sensitivity
