What you will do

As a key member of our design engineering team, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Contributing to the design and development of AIMD prototypes using advanced R&D skills and wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. 
  • Delivering high-impact PCB and system designs within agreed timeframes. 
  • Conducting system integration, hardware characterization, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring successful board bring-up. 
  • Interacting with customers to define system requirements and suppliers for manufacturing activities. 
  • Documenting design, development, and testing activities to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer. 
  • Collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams consisting of electrical, mechanical, software, and biomedical engineers to implement, verify, and validate hardware systems.

Who you are

We are looking for a candidate who possesses: 

  • MSc degree in electrical engineering or a related field with affinity for mechatronics.  
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, along with experience in E-simulation tools. 
  • Experience with (low power) Embedded and Analog HW systems.  
  • Experience in troubleshooting, patching, and board bring-up, especially in miniaturized designs. 
  • A product-oriented team player with a keen understanding of the tradeoffs involved in design decisions. 
  • Experience in low-power electronic system design is a plus. 
  • Agile team player mentality, actively contributing to the success of the team. 
  • Adaptability to change, viewing it as an opportunity for learning and personal growth. 
  • Passion for technical challenges and a hands-on attitude, taking ownership of the entire process from specification to implementation, testing, and debugging. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
