EquictyEquicty is the market leader in online horse management solutions. Our purpose is to make equestrian’s life easier by automating your key business activities in order to save time to focus on what’s truly important: managing your horses. Customers refer to our tool as a virtual assistant and that’s exactly what we want to become. The supporting factor in your stable no matter the size, discipline or activity focus. As a community manager, you will take care of all marketing and communication campaigns which will get horse businesses excited to implement Equicty.

Our goal is to provide a support for anyone active in the horse industry, whether you are a sport stable, trader, breeder, riding club or even medical professional. After we have successfully gone through the market – fit phase and delivered proof of concept in Belgium, we are now evolving from a start-up to a scale-up while going global with huge ambitions.

Purpose

As a community manager, you will take care of all marketing and communication campaigns which will get horse businesses excited to implement Equicty. You will create communication plans and see communication campaigns through from start to finish. The role would involve gathering input from external partners, building, scheduling and sending campaigns and monitoring and reporting the results. Additionally, you will share responsibility for customer support, both online and offline. You would be part of a dynamic scale-up team so we’re looking for someone who can work autonomously while communicating clearly with the team.

Key responsibilities

• Management the whole communication process from start till implementation
• Create and distribute content to promote our vision
• Interview stakeholders and incorporate their views in blog posts
• Research, edit and proofread written pieces before publication
• Building and growing online communities through stimulating discussion on blogging and Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), with a goal of increasing brand
• Awareness, engaging users, and meeting campaign goals.
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
• Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
• Coordinate with external partners to illustrate articles and gather translations
• Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates) 
• Event planning & organization (focus on communication)
• Update our websites as needed
• Online &- offline customer support
• Ad hoc general administration & support activities inherently for start-ups

Candidate profile

• You have a passion for equestrian sports and are looking for a job with purpose
• Motivated, Energetic and Passionate
• Customer centric mindset with a fluent pen
• Bachelor/master degree with at least 3 years of experience as a content creator, copywriter, journalist, SoMe marketeer or similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Dutch and English
• An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
• You are a creative person and you can sell your ideas to your peers
• Familiarity with SEO
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Wix)
• Analytic mindset with the ability to create and interpret statistics
• Team player
• Strong in priority setting, planning and delivering against pre-set deadlines
• Eager to learn and to try new techniques in line with the latest digital tools
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
• Design / graphics & video skills are a plus
