Equipment Engineering Manager
What you will do
As Equipment Engineering Manager you are responsible for the daily management of a team of ca. 10 people. These are mainly engineers and technicians of imec and its partners in device manufacturing that are responsible for the equipment/hardware aspects of a number of pilot production machines, mainly prototype systems or early versions.
You motivate and coach your team and you ensure the best training and selection of staff. You draw up the planning of your team, both with regard to the commitment of your team members and the maintenance schedule of the machines. Together with your team you live up to the current objectives and you constantly seek for improvements. You communicate with the research divisions and you ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Who you are
You obtained preferably a Master's degree in Engineering Sciences. You have experience in maintenance or similar technical activities in a production environment. Knowledge of high-tech manufacturing processes and / or experience in guiding improvement processes is an asset.
You preferably already led a team. You have good leadership and communication skills: you are able to delegate work and to motivate and coach a team. You are resilient and your problem solving skills are very well developed. Finally, you are able to plan and organize work, as well as to set priorities.
