Depending on the intern's interest, he or she can participate in projects within Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organization Development, Total rewards, Systems and Reporting,...

An internship in the HR department of imec means on the one hand taking part in the operational day-to-day work of a specific or different HR teams and on the other hand collaborating on a number of projects that are currently ongoing. 

Illustrations of internship activities and projects:
- Follow the selection process from A to Z in an international context
- Learning how to do CV screenings & selection interviews
- Organize trainings or possibly design them 
- Onboarding project for newcomers (design of an app, development of a training, ...)
- Engagement survey for employees
- Employer branding and candidat experience projects, job fairs and/or recruiting events
- Management development initiatives
- Improve customer-oriented communication from HR
- Define and implement Corporate Social Responsibility projects
- Contribute to the definition of career policy within imec
- Employee central as a service delivery model
- Developing an e-learning
- Merit analysis or benchmark exercises
- Exit analysis
- Process optimization projects
- Organization of internal events such as PhD Day
- Community building and knowledge sharing projects
