HR Talent Acquisition internship

An internship in the Talent Acquisition team of imec means on the one hand getting familiar with the operational day-to-day tasks and on the other hand working on relevant and actual topics within the domain of recruitment and selection. We will guide you in both developing a professional work attitude in an international environment and your first steps in project management.

For the operational tasks, this internship will offer a lot of variety. Some examples:

• You will get an insight in how an international company organizes its recruitment and selection process with a focus on candidate experience.
• You will learn how to post new vacancies via the best-suited channels, including the use of social media and online advertisement.
• You will learn how to interact with candidates and hiring managers by scheduling interviews for both local and international candidates.
• You will get familiar with drafting employment contracts and onboarding of new employees.
• You will get the chance to learn interviewing and assessment techniques for a wide range of profiles.
• You will get the opportunity to go represent imec on job fairs and/or help in the organization.

Next to the operational day to day tasks, you can support the Talent Acquisition team in different HR projects to optimize and improve our recruitment strategy or selection process. Examples of previous projects: Diversity and Inclusion, Artificial Intelligence, International differences in our recruitment and selection process.

As imec is a multicultural environment, you will need good verbal and written English skills.
