Implementation of new chemical to replace lime milk on physico chemical waste water installation

Compare, test and implement new product for physicochemical waste treatment and analyse the impact on sludge production. 

In the 9WFW phyiscochemical wastewater treatment plant, lime milk is currently dosed to combine the pH of incoming wastewater. This dosing is done under specific defined process conditions, as part of the plant operational improvement and sludge production improvement, the implementation of a new product is being considered.
The master student is expected to start with a literature review, lab experiments and scale-up tests.
