LucidWebLucidWeb is an XR consulting and software development company based in Brussels. It’s LucidWeb’s mission to facilitate the distribution of immersive content targeting online publishers. LucidWeb’s distribution platform uniquely uses the browser to give publishers access to the largest reach today, in real-time and in the most high-quality way, may it be mobile, desktop or XR headsets. To accelerate development of our platform, we are looking to hire a fullstack javascript engineer.

You’ll work on our platform frontend and backend code which means you’ll be implementing exciting WebVR components and then enable our clients to do the same in a visually pleasing online editor.  Our platform uses a mix of interesting technologies:

  • React.js – for our platform frontend
  • AFrame – to power our WebXR experiences
  • Node.js – to power our platform backend
  • GraphQL – to facilitate communication between platform frontend and backend

Required Skills

We are looking for a candidate that is a quick study and that can work autonomously.  We don’t require that you know all (or even any) of the tools listed above, but we require that you can quickly grasp their concepts.  A candidate’s mental aptitude is more important that the exact list of technologies he/she masters.

Ideally you’d have the following skills:

  • Quick study
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices
  • Proven track record in javascript coding (or another language)
  • Experienced with programming for the web
  • Experienced on semi-large projects and apps
  • Autonomous, but collaborative

We can offer you

  • A pioneering role in AR / VR for the web
  • A flexible work environment
  • Lots of virtual fun

We don’t believe experience should be measured in years, so if you’re confident in your skills, do apply.
