Office Assistant

What you will do

You will lend a helping hand and a human touch to office operations of OnePlanet Research Center. You will support our employees and managers with day-to-day office matters and questions, all while understanding their needs, offering solutions and support. We are looking for an Office Assistant who will create a welcoming and comfortable environment in our office.

• Give a warm welcome to visitors, clients and new colleagues and carry out reception activities.
• Ensure smooth office operations: order office and kitchen supplies, arrange coffee and catering for team lunches and company events, receive and send post and packages and order business cards.
• Provide support in onboarding of new employees.
• Handle business travel arrangements.
• Assist managers with meeting planning and preparation, support organization of internal events.
• Act as a contact person for everyday questions and requests from employees.

Who you are

• You are a student or a graduate with a strong interest in an Office Management career.
• You have education and/or experience relevant to the role (e.g. office management, hospitality).
• You have excellent organizational skills, which can be demonstrated through past experience or education (e.g. organization of university events, extracurricular activities).
• You are a proactive and hands-on problem-solver.
• You have a positive, approachable, service-oriented attitude.
• You have full professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
• You are available to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
