Currently we are looking for a motivated R&D Development Engineer Yield Star Metrology.​

The job

As R&D Development Engineer you will spend a large amount of your time in the clean-room. Within the team you are independently responsible for the performance and quality monitoring of one or more lithography steps, and this with state-of-the-art computer controlled devices.

A first part of your tasks involves supporting your R&D colleagues by executing the requested processing correct and on time. You will organize your own work according to the defined priorities and perform data analysis, etc.

The second part of the job includes building experience on our Yieldstar metrology devices. You will acquire knowledge and insights in existing and new applications, possibilities and limitations of the device. You will be a point of contact for new and existing users. You will follow-up the status of the device and, if necessary, consult with the device responsible of the imec cleanroom and specialists of ASML. Accuracy and quality are required in our high-tech environment! 


  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree combined with experience in processing semiconductors components in a high-tech cleanroom environment;
  • You are willing to work in a shift regime (after an agreed upon introductory period, in an alternating early / late shift system);
  • You work accurate;
  • You can work independently and pro-actively;
  • You are a fluent communicator, also in English. You can work easily within a team.
