Computational Imaging EngineerJob Description: Contribute to research teams to create images from Terahertz (THz) and millimeter wave imaging systems using electromagnetic theory, antenna and array imaging design. Develop strategies and proposals to advance the company’s computational imaging research and technology. Model and simulate performance of new imaging systems using industrial grade computational software and programming using C/C++ and Python. Define, develop, analyze and optimize new and existing imaging algorithms for current and future products. Provide sales team with technical information for customer visits.
Minimum Requirements: PhD in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related with at least two (2) years of hands-on graduate research. In lieu of a Ph.D. with at least two (2) years of hands-on graduate research, employer will accept Master's degree in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related, with at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.The referenced two (2) years of hands-on research or alternate two (2) years of experience must involve electromagnetic theory, antenna and array imaging design; THz and millimeter wave computational imaging; algorithm development; and programming using C/C++ or Python. Must have published results in at least three peer reviewed journals or conferences in the field.
