IMEC VZW, Stichting IMEC Nederland (imec), IMEC Inc. and IMEC USA NANOELECTRONICS DESIGN CENTER, Inc. are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The following privacy statement explains how we use your personal data in our recruitment process and what your rights are.

Privacy statement for the purpose of selecting employees, students and researchers:

Your personal data will be included in the imec application. This data will exclusively be used for employee selection purposes, compliance reporting (for U.S. positions only) and to invite you to recruitment events (job fairs, events, etc.) of imec and its affiliates. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for this purpose. Data will be stored so long as it is required for the recruitment process and/or compliance requirements. If you have indicated your wish to have your personal data included in the recruitment pool, for future recruitment, it will be stored for three years following the end of the year of your application. Selected and/or final candidates will be screened for security using official and public available restricted party listings, including those maintained by EU or US pursuant to applicable United Nations, national or international requirements. You have the right to access and review your personal data held by imec and, under certain conditions, to correct it or to have it deleted, to object to its processing, to restrict its processing or to receive or have transmitted your personal data to another controller (data portability). Diversity and inclusion:

• Anonymous reporting of this data after the hiring process will enable us to evaluate equity in each step, learn and adjust our way of working. Examples include tailored recruitment efforts if we see a lower influx of certain talents, or modifications to our standard selection process if we notice a loss of certain talents in specific steps.

IMEC VZW, Stichting IMEC Nederland (imec), IMEC Inc. en IMEC USA NANOELECTRONICS DESIGN CENTER, Inc. zetten zich in om jouw privacy te beschermen en te respecteren. De hierna volgende privacyverklaring beschrijft hoe we uw persoonsgegevens in onze aanwervingsprocedure gebruiken en wat uw rechten zijn.

Privacyverklaring voor de selectie van medewerkers, studenten en onderzoekers:

Uw persoonsgegevens zullen worden opgenomen in het kandidatenbestand van IMEC VZW of van Stichting IMEC Nederland of waarvan U de contactgegevens hieronder kan aantreffen (IMEC). Deze gegevens zijn enkel bestemd voor de selectie van personeel en medewerkers, rapportering met betrekking tot het naleven van de voorschriften (enkel van toepassing op U.S. vacatures) en voor het bekendmaken van wervingsacties (jobbeurzen, events, opendeurdagen, etc.) van imec en haar verbonden ondernemingen. Uw persoonsgegevens worden niet aan derden doorgegeven. Uw gegevens worden bijgehouden zolang als nodig voor de selectie. Indien U aangegeven hebt te willen opgenomen worden in een kandidaten bestand, worden uw persoonsgegevens bijgehouden tot drie jaar na het einde van het jaar van uw kandidatuur. Geselecteerde en/of definitieve kandidaten worden gescreend voor veiligheidsrisico’s op basis van officiële en publiek beschikbare lijsten, zoals deze die worden bijgehouden door EU of VS overeenkomstig geldende sanctielijsten van de Verenigde Naties, nationale of internationale overheden. U hebt het recht op inzage van uw persoonsgegevens die door IMEC bewaard worden, en, onder voorwaarden, het recht om deze gegevens te verbeteren of te laten schrappen, om u tegen de verwerking te verzetten, de verwerking te laten beperken of uw gegevens aan een derde te doen overdragen. Indien u uw rechten als betrokkene wenst uit te oefenen, of indien u verdere vragen heeft omtrent uw privacy, dan kan u IMEC contacteren op het adres hieronder.

Diversiteit en inclusie:

Imec zet er sterk op in om een diverse en inclusieve werkplek te creëren en doet er alles aan om mogelijke vooroordelen bij aanwerving te elimineren. Om die reden vragen we naar gender en leeftijd, om ons te helpen een rekruteringsproces op te zetten dat in lijn is met onze diversiteitsambities.

De vragen maken gebruik van een keuzelijst met brede categorieën. Je hebt de keuze om je gender en leeftijd “liever niet te vermelden”.

We gebruiken deze informatie alleen om geen divers talent te missen:

• Anonieme rapportering van deze gegevens na het aanwervingsproces stelt ons in staat om gelijkheid in elke stap te evalueren, ervan te leren en onze manier van werken aan te passen. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn extra wervingsinspanningen als we een lagere instroom van bepaalde talenten zien, of aanpassingen aan ons standaard selectieproces als we een verlies van bepaalde talenten in specifieke stappen opmerken.
• Beheerders hebben tijdens het aanwervingsproces toegang tot deze gegevens om ze te monitoren en feedback te geven als ze onverklaarbare afwijkingen zien. De managers die aanwerven hebben nooit toegang tot deze informatie tijdens het wervingsproces.
