IMS - imec research group at VUB

IMS (Intelligent Machines and Systems) is an imec reseach group that brings together researchers of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel research groups Brubotics, ETRO and ELEC with special focus on human machine interaction, transparency, resilience and sustainability. The expertise of the Brubotics group is on human collaborative robots mostly in health and manufacturing with wearable robots, cobots and multi agent systems. The research of ETRO covers holography, analysis of medical imaging, artificial intelligence, micro- and optoelectronics, multidimensional signal processing, and communication. ELEC aims to increase design and measurement efficiency through meta-modelling focusing on microwave measurements for telecom microelectronics applications.
