At OFC 2025, imec has a range of contributions in integrated photonics. Highlights include workshops on co-packaged optics, short courses on silicon photonics design, and papers on FMCW LiDAR sensors, InP-on-silicon lasers, and advanced 3-D assembly for optical interconnects.

Additionally, imec is organizing ITF Photonics USA 2025 on April 1st. At this event, experts from imec and industry will share first-hand insights on the transformative potential of integrated photonics, highlighting its advantages such as high energy efficiency, increased bandwidths, high-speed data transmission and processing, and compact design across various application domains including telecommunications, data centers, lidar, AI, and quantum computing.
