March 31, Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis
Hosted by imec and Purdue University.
A pre-conference workshop at SEMIEXPO Heartland.
Semiconductor technologies are becoming increasingly ubiquitous and pivotal for improving the efficiency, resilience, and capabilities of most industries – including the more traditional ones. From production approaches to products, the demands and challenges for semiconductor technology are increasing rapidly.
To fulfill future computing needs, semiconductor technologies must take leaps forward. Performance and energy efficiency need to drastically improve, even though traditional ‘linear’ scaling is becoming ever more difficult. Meanwhile, concerns around the environmental impact of chip manufacturing need to be addressed.
Two of the most renowned institutions in semiconductor research, Purdue University and imec, are aiming to make significant contributions toward solving these challenges. They are combining their complementary strengths, building on recent breakthroughs in domains such as 2D materials and co-design, and connecting to the local semiconductor ecosystem to maximize impact.
Imec and Purdue University will share their unique insights with you on the afternoon before SEMIEXPO Heartland. Join this workshop along with other industry professionals, policymakers, researchers, and academics to gain insights, share knowledge, and explore collaborative opportunities around the most pressing challenges in the semiconductor industry.
