2D-PL

2D Pilot Line
Graphene and other two-dimensional materials (2DMs) are critical for advancing electronic and photonic devices, but their fabrication remains a challenging field of research. The EU-funded 2D-PL project aims to address these challenges by developing integration modules for prototyping in photonics and electronics, thereby strengthening the European innovation ecosystem. The project will focus on improving 2DM fabrication processes within industrial settings and ensuring accessible pilot line services. Key offerings include process design kits and multi-project wafer runs, which are essential for outreach and collaboration. The initiative will target the development of modules for photonic and electronic devices and circuits, catering to academic institutions, research centres, SMEs and larger businesses.
