Toward a Digital Twin ECS and thermal management architecture models: Improvement of MODELICA libraries and usage of Deep Learning technics
The EU-funded TWINECS project aims to develop an efficient, robust, and accurate model to simulate electrical environmental control systems (e-ECS). It is based on major challenges from a previous project, MALET, which include the Vapor Cycle System (VCS) simulations, VCS heat exchangers, and electrical components. The project modelling approach is twofold as both physical and surrogate models must be developed and integrated into the Dymola/Modelica framework. Specific objectives include the development of thermo-fluid models, electrical models and surrogate models for previous components based on data analytics techniques. Finally, the project will perform a simulation of a complete thermo-fluid-electrical VCS model using both the standard and the surrogate models.
