Memory bilateral project leader 

What you will do

 As Project Leader for Memory Bilateral Projects, you will be leading teams and managing projects in the imec memory bilateral project portfolio throughout the whole project life cycle, from definition to delivery. You will align with the expert teams, resource managers, and FAB managers to best define and execute your plan. Your goal will be to deliver the target objectives within the time and budget target define with the customer, for each project under your responsibility. 

You will be responsible to lead the team technically and operationally, promoting interactions and innovations. Your open communication, enthusiasm and drive will be key to create a strong team and reach your goals. 

Together with the operational managers, you will monitor the performances and resources of your projects and ensure to stay within agreed boundaries. You will proactively manage changes, drive the acceleration of your projects activities when required, escalate show-stoppers or issues within the organization, and help provide solutions. 

The interaction with your project customers will be an important part of your activities. You will regularly report to them, help keeping a strong link and ensuring the project deliverables are answering their specific requests. 

You will seek for constant improvements of both the quality and speed of our innovation. We will count on you to bring new ideas and help implementing them.

Who you are

  • You have a PhD degree or MSc in microelectronics, electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, material science, or a closely related discipline. 
  • At least 5 year experience in the semiconductor field (Process, Integration, Device, Reliability and/or Design) 
  • Experience and knowledge of fabrication flows related to memory technologies (DRAM, 3D-NAND, MRAM, emerging memories, etc.) is a real asset. 
  • Previous experiences as a R&D project leader is a real asset. 
  • You are data driven work in a structured way. 
  • You are enthusiastic and show an “always improving” mentality. 
  • You are customer driven. 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
