You are a highly motivated simulation engineer with a strong background in numerical modelling of fluidic systems in the field of microfluidics. This role focuses on advanced liquid cooling technologies, life science-related microfluidic systems, and multi-physics simulations.

Microfluidics Modeling Specialist

What you will do

  • Perform CFD simulations and modelling to support the development of liquid cooling technologies.
  • Use ANSYS Fluent as a primary simulation environment; build advanced workflows and parameterized models.
  • Support life science microfluidic applications through multi-physics modelling and design exploration.
  • Work within multiple parallel projects and manage priorities according to milestone driven schedules.
  • Guide and support colleagues in simulation strategies and interpretation of results.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and micro/nanofabrication experts.

Who you are

  • You hold a PhD or master’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field. For applicants with a PhD, relevant industry experience is considered a plus; for applicants with a master’s degree, a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
  • You have strong experience in CFD simulations, and general numerical modelling.
  • You are proficient with ANSYS Fluent and have experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, or others.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable combining analytical and numerical approaches.
  • You have experience working in a research and development environment with an interdisciplinary team.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
