We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. With your talent, passion and expertise, you’ll become part of a team that makes the impossible possible. Together, we shape the technology that will determine the society of tomorrow.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and proud of our open, multicultural, and informal working environment with ample possibilities to take initiative and show responsibility. We are aware that your valuable contribution makes imec a top player in its field. Your energy and commitment are therefore appreciated by means of a market appropriate salary with many fringe benefits.

Who you are

  • You hold a master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent through experience) and bring hands-on experience in quality engineering, ideally within semiconductor or ASIC development.
  • You have worked in New Product Introduction (NPI) environments and enjoy guiding products from early development to a robust, high-quality release.
  • You are experienced in quality methodologies such as 8D problem solving, failure analysis, and risk management and you take pride in turning complex challenges into structured solutions.
  • You enjoy taking ownership: you anticipate risks, act proactively, and ensure quality is built in from the start rather than checked at the end.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on priorities and drive impactful decisions.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence, making complex topics accessible and creating alignment across teams.
  • You are energized by innovation and feel at home in a dynamic R&D environment where your work directly contributes to cutting-edge ASIC technologies.
