What you will do

The Senior Supply Chain Officer takes end-to-end responsibility for the production planning and on-time delivery of full-turnkey (FTK) projects (involving wafers, assembly and test) and critical key-customer projects involving complex, multi-supplier semiconductor supply chains. You manage day-to-day supply chain operations for critical and/or complex projects involving multiple production steps and suppliers, dynamic customer forecasts, capacity constraints and changing production priorities. You handle projects with focus on follow-up of revenue and cost, adaptive project planning and dynamic forecasting, procurement, supplier follow-up and customer support and oversee project related shipments and orders. Contributing to the development and implementation of new supply chain tools and to the delivery of projects, you help shaping our way of working. You transfer your skills, by coaching supply chain assistants and supply chain officers. 

  • Manage the official handover of projects from the engineering team to the production team and ensure operational readiness for volume production 
  • Take end-to-end ownership of supply chain operations for critical and/or complex projects involving multiple production steps and suppliers, dynamic customer forecasts, capacity constraints and changing production priorities. 
  • Manage financial follow-up, including booking and controlling incoming orders, placing outgoing orders, and processing and following up on invoices. 
  • Forecast and plan customer demand against available subcontractor capacity and proactively identify supply, capacity and delivery risks. 
  • Monitor production milestones and delivery commitments and take appropriate action or escalate when deviations or risks arise. 
  • Manage suppliers daily regarding planning, capacity, deliverables and deviations, and drive actions needed to maintain customer commitments. 
  • Coordinate global shipments between suppliers, subcontractors and end customers. 
  • Lead regular operational meetings with customers and suppliers to review forecasts, production status, planning, risks and required actions. 
  • Align regularly with Sales, Account Managers, Production Group Lead and other relevant stakeholders on customer forecasts, priorities, capacity and project status. 
  • Coach and support Supply Chain Officers and Supply Chain Assistants and contribute to their training and knowledge development. 
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of supply chain processes, procedures and tools. 
  • Support Supply Chain Officers in resolving complex operational issues and drive structural solutions to prevent recurrence.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.  
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations for semiconductors. 
  • Have a good and detailed understanding of the semiconductor production flow and related eco-system, involving foundry, assembly and test aspects. 
  • You are highly organized, accurate, and proactive, with strong skills in production planning, supplier coordination, and customer communication. 
  • With well-developed communication skills, you contribute to a collaborative work environment and successfully navigate complex problem solving with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
