As a team leader Lithography Process Engineering you coach and coordinate a team of process engineers responsible for the set-up, the improvement and control of lithography processes in sustained (DOD) products, internal projects, ... This in the CMORE (MEMS, actuators, sensors ...) and Core (Logic, Memory, Interconnect, 3D...) world.

What you will do

You will lead the Litho Development Engineering. This team is responsible for the development of standard lithography processes and follows up processes under evaluation/validation for upscaling.  

Your key responsibilities are: 

  • Provide guidance and support to a team of both junior and experienced engineers in lithography processes. Fostering collaboration, accountability and personal development by demonstrating, coaching & training on skills and competencies. 
  • You steer the team to define, execute, improve and coordinate the development activities, feeding high quality lithography towards integration teams and process development teams. 
  • You implement and monitor KPI’s to enhance performance, ensure process stability, safeguard tool reliability, and output quality. 
  • Maintain your level of scientific know-how through hands-on work in the cleanroom, and continuous learning and collaboration. 
  • You will represent imec in contacts with third parties and representatives for semiconductor players from around the globe within your field of competence.

Who you are

  • Master/PhD degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Chemistry or Physics or equivalent by experience. Combined with relevant industrial experience in a semiconductor environment and people management role. 
  • Experience in Lithography is required, with knowledge of the different integration schemes FEOL, BEOL, and 3D.
  • You are passionate about application development, data interpretation, process improvement and you are driven to achieve high quality results. 
  • You are a team player and flexible in accommodating changing priorities to support business needs. 
  • You have self-drive and are willing to take ownership. 
  • You have outstanding English communication skills to work successfully in an international dynamic team environment.
