To help push the frontiers of an analog and mixed signal circuits and devices, we are looking for a new colleague to join us in the Health and Life Sciences domain

What you will do

As an Analog Circuit Researcher, your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Perform research and design innovative, high-performance, and high voltage integrated circuits focusing on a.o. implantable therapeutics and nerve stimulation. This includes blocks like high voltage stimulators, sensor readouts, ADCs for (e.g.) medical applications, instrumentation amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, analog filtering, programmable gain amplifiers, etc.  
  • Together with the team, you bring new ideas and new technical methods to life. 
  • Interacting technically with external partners as part of an existing collaboration or towards new partners. 
  • Publishing your state-of-the-art research results in international conferences and journals.

Who you are

  • PhD in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.  
  • Preferably 0-5 years of relevant working experience in Health and Life Science domain. 
  • Strong experience in analog IC design (design, layout and verification). 
  • Solid understanding of transistors, circuits, architectures, control loops and signal integrity. 
  • Experience with Cadence IC6 and signoff tools (like Calibre) is a must.  
  • Experience with CMOS is a must.   
  • Experience with multiple tape-outs is required. 
  • You come up with new technical methods, ideas and concepts which bring significant impact on our research to define and implement next-generation best-in-class analog designs.  
  • You are passionate about research and innovation, and thrive both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and experts across international, multidisciplinary teams. 
  • You demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills, clearly presenting technical decisions and outcomes in English (both written and spoken). 
  • You are committed to expand your scientific network and are willing to mentor students and supervise PhD candidates.
