Fab Reporting Business Analyst (temporary assignment)
As a Fab Reporting Business Analyst, you provide the Fab teams with the data and reports they need to run the Pilot Lines effectively and efficiently.
The assignment
- Understand needs and business processes from the Fab related to operational data, to build data products and reports that allow the different departments of the Fab to steer their operations.
- Interact with many people throughout and outside the Fab organization to understand what they are trying to accomplish, you translate their needs into clear user requirements and reporting proposals.
- Create prototypes and/or wireframes to validate proposals with requesters.
- Perform integration testing and user acceptance testing (in collaboration with the business) for the created reports.
- Provide business support for the users of the reports and data products, including investigating and resolving issues that don’t require ICT involvement and training/coaching of users.
Required knowledge and skills / Vereiste kennis en skills
- Minimum 2 years experience with data analysis, manipulation, visualization or data modelling for analytics (e.g., Kimball)
- Prior experience with relational databases, SQL or Power Query/Power BI is a strong asset.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or the process industry.
- Understanding data objects like workpiece, process flow, measurement results and how these are connected. Prior experience in or knowledge of semiconductor processing is a strong asset.
- Strong (technical) communication skills. You are an engaged listener, able to detect the needs of your internal stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential, since you will be working in a highly international environment and will be maintaining a good contact with colleagues and co-workers from all over the world.
