ICT Domain lead – Finance, Procurement & PPM

What you will do

As the team lead Finance, Procurement & Project & Program management, you will have ownership of the SAP Finance, controlling, procurement, Project systems & Clarity PPM solutions of the ICT portfolio. You will be working closely with ICT business partners, team members, and external vendors to design and implement solutions that enhance business processes. In this role, you will manage a small internal team and work with external partners to define and execute the strategic ICT roadmap.

You will in this role also be the service owner of the SAP solution being responsible to manage and continuously improve the ICT services to ensure they align with business objectives, meet service level agreements (SLAs), and drive operational excellence.

This position requires strong leadership skills, deep understanding of the capabilities of the ICT solutions, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Acting as a trusted advisor and influencer, you will collaborate closely with both ICT and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions across processes, infrastructure, and software. This means that you will:

1. Collaborate & Lead

• Provide leadership and guidance to a small team, mentoring them to grow in their respective areas.
• Manage team performance, set clear objectives, and support personal growth through coaching and development plans.
• Organize and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and on-time delivery of ICT projects.
• Manage the relationship with external partners, overseeing functional analysis, development, and architecture design to ensure delivery is aligned with platform goals.
• Collaborate with other ICT stakeholders, including Business Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, and external vendors, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

2. Be the Platform Owner

• Act as the primary owner of your platform, ensuring its evolution aligns with organizational goals and ICT strategy.
• Define and maintain the platform’s vision, blueprint, and roadmap, including integrating it into the overall IT architecture.
• Stay up to date of industry trends and innovations within the IT sector and your ecosystem, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement.

3. Manage Business Demand

• Guard and drive a comprehensive governance process for managing platform enhancements, changes, and demands.
• Act as a key interface with senior business partners, understanding and prioritizing their demands, aligning them with platform capabilities and IT strategy.

4. Deliver demand & Manage projects

• Lead and deliver smaller projects or enhancements, ensuring adherence to PMO principles for larger projects.
• Lead internal and external teams through the detailed design and implementation phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Define cost-effective, mid-and long-term roadmaps while spotting quick wins to maximize results aligned with strategic goals.

5. Be the Service owner of the SAP application.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of ICT services, including incident, service request, problem, and change management.
• Regularly evaluate service quality and implement improvements, focusing on cost reduction, process efficiency, shift left, and automation.
• Build strong relationships with service partners, ensure prompt follow-up on contracts and SLAs, track partner compliance, and manage licenses.

What do we expect

• Experience in leading small teams.
• 12+ years of experience in Finance, procurement & PPM solutons.
• Extensive experience with defining template solutions for diverse requirements.
• You can implement and adapt architecture frameworks to our specific context and content
• You can work with key stakeholders to define, formulate and evolve strategic roadmaps and blueprints; and influence both ICT and business leadership through your expertise, analysis, leadership and communication / presentation skills
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
