Objective
For this thesis/internship, the goal is to
develop a governance structure and supporting documentation for the Imec FDC
(fault detection and control) process control program. Interaction with all
parties involved is crucial as these procedures will affect how Fab Engineers
and Researchers will have to monitors the Tools in the future. A thorough
interest in Change Management, Process Quality and Operation Excellence is
beneficial
Chip manufacturing requires in depth insights into the manufacturing process, and it continuously monitors the behaviour of the Tool and the Wafers running through it. For this the be successful it requires a well thought out governance and procedure that keeps all parties involved focused on the task ahead. Change Management and on understanding of Operation Excellence is key in this endeavour.
