Improve qubit coherence by setup optimization

Master internship - Leuven | Just now

By exploring different setup configurations, the student will explore what is limiting coherence of imec's qubits.
Qubit coherence such as energy relaxation, T1 and dephasing time Tphi depend both on internal and external sources of decoherence. In this internship the student will explore different hardware configurations to identify main external sources of decoherence and minimize them. The work will be related to perform electrical measurements in a closed cryogenic system.

Type of internship: Master internship
