In the pilot production line, we manufacture prototypes of all kinds of electronic chips in an advanced cleanroom environment. Four teams of operators are responsible for executing and monitoring the quality of the production steps using stateoftheart, computercontrolled equipment. To make this happen, we also need you!

Operations Lead

What will you do?

  • You will lead an operations shift, meaning you set the priorities and ensure these are integrated into the shift. You take proactive actions to guarantee the continuity of the processes in the cleanroom. 
  • You act as a role model in terms of teamwork, safety, quality, and output. 
  • You regularly check whether the work is carried out according to agreed procedures and adjust when necessary. 
  • You stay on top of shortterm customer requests related to the cleanroom and ensure they are smoothly integrated into planning and execution. 
  • When required, you escalate to operations management. 
  • You provide input regarding the performance of your team members to the operations area team lead. 
  • You inspire, motivate, and coach your team in striving toward higher competency levels. 
  • You support the operations area team lead and engineering in carrying out improvement projects. 
  • You collaborate with your fellow WiP (Work in Place) leads to approach the cleanroom work in a uniform way, and together you are responsible for achieving the required operations KPIs. 
  • You identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and raise them in the appropriate forums. 
  • Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will also be operationally active in the cleanroom and involved in processing lots.

  • You work in the full‑continuous operations shift system, including night and weekend work. Below is an example of the shift schedule, providing a clear understanding of the work hours and rotation you can expect in this role:

- Week X: You will work the early shift (06:15 – 14:15) from Monday to Friday.

- Week X+1: You work the night shift (21:45 – 06:30) from Monday to Friday.

- Week X+2: You work the late shift (14:00 – 22:00) from Monday to Wednesday, on Thursday and Friday you have recuperation and on Saturday and Sunday you work 12h - (06:30 – 18:30)

- Week X+3: From Monday to Wednesday, you have recuperation and on Thursday and Friday you work in the late shift (14:00 – 22:00).

- Week X: You work from Monday to Friday in the early shift. (06:15 – 14:15).
