Interested in IMEC’s newest technology generations, process flows and state of the art 300mm cleanroom tools? Always wanted to work with IMEC’s strategic partners? As a process integration engineer in the APS team you will be leveraging IMEC’s advanced processing capabilities to meet our partner’s specific requirements. You will be responsible for the manufacturing and timely delivery of advanced short loop, test and calibration wafers that are essential for the growth and success of our partner’s business.

Process Integration Engineer for Advanced Processing Services

What you will do

  • Definition of process flows based on technical description agreed with the customer.
  • Daily follow up of the lots in progress, taking responsibility on issue resolution, reporting and escalations.
  • Defining actions when in-line date is Out Of Spec (OoS) or drifting.
  • Ensure the products are delivered on time and with high quality.
  • Summarizing and reporting in-line process data using statistical data analysis.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues together with imec’s Process and Integration Experts.
  • You will eventually grow into a role where you will engage directly with IMEC’s strategic partners on processing requests, specifications, and deliveries.
  • You will also eventually have project lead roles for new Low Volume Production requests from IMEC’s partners.

Who you are

  • You have a BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Experience in semiconductor process technology and wafer fabrication is an asset.
  • You are proactive and can work independently.
  • You have high level of integrity and accountability.
  • You possess proven problem-solving skills and have a pro-active attitude.
  • You are well organised and a good planner.
  • You have the flexibility to change between different projects according to the required priorities
  • You have good communication skills and like to interact with other people, even in other groups and departments
  • Since you will be working in a highly international environment, fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
