Process Integration Engineer PWD 

The Product and Wafer delivery group (PWD) is looking for a process integration engineer to help build and deliver a growing volume of high value niche products for some of IMEC’s strategic partners. Having our products inside the most advanced lithography and metrology tools makes us a critical partner in our partners’ supply chain.

What you will do

  • You will be responsible for the production of high value niche products from the bare-Si till the finished product in IMEC’s 200 mm or 300 mm fab. 
  • You will build and execute the production plan based on the forecast provided by the customers 
  • You will work with the e-test and inspection team to guarantee on-time delivery of products that are 100% compliant with the specifications to our customers 
  • You will actively pursue improvement of process quality and yield 
  • You will use integration knowledge and analysis of inline and electrical data to trouble shoot problems and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions 
  • You will report project progress on a regular basis to your management and to the customers

Who you are

  • You have obtained a PhD or Master’s degree (in engineering, physics, chemistry or equivalent) 
  • You have 3+ years of experience in semiconductor processing, preferably in an integration role 
  • You possess proven problem-solving skills and have a pro-active attitude.    
  • You can interpret in-line and electrical test data and relate it to wafer fabrication processes. 
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with strong organizational and project management capabilities, able to complete tasks independently and on time. 
  • You have good communication and presentation skills and like to interact with other people, inside and outside of the organisation 
  • You are confident when interfacing with customers 
  • You have high quality standards 
  • You have excellent English communication skills.
