R&D Process Integration Engineer Platform Team
What you will do
- Process Integration:
- Work on Front End of Line (FEOL) and Middle of Line (MOL) modules for GAA technology nodes. A deep understanding of epitaxial and gate module is desired. Knowledge of legacy nodes (including Finfet, planer nodes) is a bonus.
- Partner with process modules (lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, metrology, etc.) to ensure module robustness and seamless integration.
- Define, discuss and implement process splits in collaboration with unit module, device & TCAD team. Execute them with requested cycle time seamlessly to meet goals.
- Analyze interactions between FEOL modules and guide development using inline, electrical and characterization data.
- Prepare technical reports and present integration status, risks, and mitigation plans to team-leaders and stakeholders.
- Daily follow-up of the lots in progress, flow readiness, with occasional support outside regular working hours for priority lots, taking responsibility for issue resolution, reporting and escalations.
- Technology Transfer:
- Strengthening the connection between R&D and the semiconductor industry. Leverage imec’s deep technical expertise to collaborate with customers and set-up established technology node processes at customer sites.
- Module Robustness & Scalability:
- Apply best practices to test process windows and margins. Optimize module settings for compatibility and tolerance.
- Integrate industry-standard best-known methods (BKM) to enhance performance and reliability across modules and integrated flows.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with imec’s advanced research device teams. Share updates and insights with peers, customers, and management.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to team-leaders, cross department colleagues & external customers.
- Occasional on-site technical discussions at customer location may be required.
