UX designer (temporary assignment)
The assignment
We are looking for a creative and empathetic UX Designer / Usability Expert to shape the look, feel, and
customer experience of our online portal. This role is all about creating a welcoming, intuitive, and
enjoyable digital space for our customers (both internal and external) — one that reflects our brand values
and helps users easily find what they need.
You don’t need to be a deep technical expert, but you should be comfortable collaborating with developers
and understanding how design decisions translate into implementation
Required knowledge and skills
- Proven experience in UX design, usability, or interaction design (experience with portals or
customer-facing sites a plus). - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows (using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or
Adobe XD). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to work effectively with both creative
and technical teams. - A keen eye for aesthetics and a sensitivity to needs both internally and externally and technical
understanding. - Curious, empathetic, and passionate about making digital experiences feel human and welcoming.
- Excellent English communication skills. Dutch is a nice-to-have
- Experience with usability testing tools or analytics platforms.
- Understanding of front-end basics (HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with developers.
