Bachelor internship - Leuven | Just now
About the internship
Cybersecurity is an ongoing effort that requires continuous visibility into vulnerabilities, security posture, emerging risks, and the real-world impact these risks can have on the organization. At imec, the Security Operations Center continuously works to improve the identification, prioritization, reporting, and remediation of vulnerabilities, with a strong focus on using AI technology to assess impact, identify what matters most, and target remediation efforts towards Known Exploited Vulnerabilities that are relevant in our environment.
As an intern, you will work closely with our Vulnerability Management Engineer and support both the operational and strategic aspects of Vulnerability Management. You will help build reporting dashboards, improve data integrations, develop automations, and explore how AI can support impact analysis, contextual risk scoring, and smarter prioritization of vulnerabilities across a diverse technology landscape.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the most important domains of modern cybersecurity while contributing directly to the improvement of imec's security posture.
