Join imec academy's Learning & Development team to explore and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance our way of working. This internship offers a unique opportunity to shape how our L&D team leverages artificial intelligence in their daily work.

Key responsibilities:

You will conduct a comprehensive investigation into AI adoption within our L&D team that can serve as a pilot for broader implementation through four core tasks:

  • AI competency assessment – Design and deploy a survey to evaluate the current AI proficiency levels across the L&D team, establishing a baseline for targeted development.
  • Process mapping & automation/augmentation opportunities – Identify and document L&D workflows that could benefit from AI automation or augmentation, prioritizing high-impact use cases.
  • Tool evaluation – Analyze imec internal AI tools' (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) capabilities and limitations for supporting identified processes, and research alternative or complementary AI tools available in the market to address any gaps.
  • Learning resource development – Create a curated library of training courses and practical prompt templates tailored to different proficiency levels, ensuring the team can continue their AI journey independently after the internship concludes.
