Coherent diffractive imaging for optical inspection and metrology

Master internship, PhD internship - Brussel | Just now

Explore the state-of-the-art optical and imaging technologies in semiconductor and bioscience applications
This topic focuses on the development and application of coherent diffractive imaging (CDI) techniques for high-contrast optical metrology. The research aims to enable quantitative phase and structural analysis of nanoscale samples using diffraction patterns combining with coherent illumination (Laser) configuration. Demonstrations include acquiring diffraction images of objects, and computational phase retrieval. The approach is applicable to semiconductor, bioscience and advanced materials for metrology, providing high sensitivity to nanoscale defects and structural variations.

Responsibilities:

  • Optical Simulation and System Configuration
  • image acquisition from the tool and sample
  • Analyze results and support documentation and presentations.
