Facilities Asset Management Director

As Director of Asset Management, you will have strategic leadership over
a department responsible for the management and maintenance of cleanrooms,
laboratories, and office buildings on our campus in Leuven, as well as the
technical installations that keep our pilot production lines running. In the
international Imec organization, you are the organizational link between Leuven
and the local Imec offices, laboratories, and cleanrooms.
Specifically:

Leuven, who in turn manage teams of engineers, technicians, and
subcontractors.
- The
main responsibilities of the operational team are Process System

Engineering, Maintenance, Shutdown management and Root Cause Analysis.

ensure the process organizational optimization of the operational team in
relation to Imec's growth scenario. Growth is in the number of technical
facilities (Gases, Cooling Water, HVAC, Exhaust Systems, High Purity

and the ever-higher performance expected of them, but also in the Smart

of the facilities is particularly important for the cleanrooms; you

continuous improvement.

daily operations, smooth and efficient consultation with various
stakeholders is crucial; you are the chair/member of various operational
meetings and the first point of contact for Cleanroom & Laboratory
management, the EHS service, Finance, Legal and Procurement, and the
managers of the Imec expertise centers & sectors.
- To
support the international growth of imec, you will set up and organize an
international organization structure of the operational department of
which Leuven is the Headquarter.
- You
are responsible for the department's budget.
- As a
member of the management team, you contribute to the development and
implementation of the strategy for the Facilities and Infrastructure
(FAIN) department.
- Finally,
you report to the Director of Facilities & Infrastructure.
