DRAMSimulator, SST, Ramulator, dramSIM, framework, full-system simulator

This concise proposal outlines a 6-9 month internship project focused on the development of a framework using SST (Structured Simulation Toolkit) in conjunction with DRAMSimulator. The primary objective of this internship is to create a versatile environment that allows the simulation of real applications, providing a valuable tool for research and analysis.

The internship project will encompass the following key steps:

  1. Framework Development: The primary task is to create a robust framework by integrating SST and DRAMSimulator. The framework should be capable of accurately modeling memory system behavior under the influence of real applications.
  2. Real Application Integration: A diverse set of real applications will be selected for integration into the framework. These applications should encompass various workloads, including scientific computing, data analytics, and other domains.
  3. Performance Analysis: Once the framework is operational, interns will conduct extensive performance analysis. This step involves the execution of real applications within the framework and the measurement of critical performance metrics

Type of project: Internship

Duration: 6- 9 months

Required degree: Master of Engineering Technology

Required background: Electrotechnics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science

Supervising scientist(s): For further information or for application, please contact: Saeideh Alinezhad Chamazcoti (Saeideh.alin@imec.be)

Imec allowance will be provided.
