Imec is leading the research and development of novel devices and materials that can shape the future of tomorrow’s electronic devices. In this growing R&D activity, we are currently looking for an R&D Engineer to strengthen our processing activities in our cleanroom lab environment. She/He will be the coordinator for the development of process and integration flows for technology developments in the fields of microfluidics, biosensors and MEMS.
As an R&D Engineer, you are the point of contact with internal and external customers and corresponding device simulation and design experts. You have a very deep understanding of our cleanroom lab capabilities and with your strong microfabrication background you can translate the device concepts to realistic process flows. In the next step, you supervise the device fabrication and co-ordinate the execution in close contact with the process engineers.
