We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Governance Specialist to support the operational execution of our information security strategy.

The assignment

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Governance Specialist to support the operational execution of our information security strategy.

In this role you will 

  • Contribute to key initiatives related to NIS2 compliance, security incident management, and third-party risk management. As part of the central security team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and business units to ensure our organization meets its regulatory, operational, and contractual security obligations.
  • Support the implementation of NIS2-related controls, including risk assessments, security policies, and reporting. Assist in the coordination and follow-up of security incidents, including tracking of response actions and post-incident reviews. Maintain and improve third-party risk management processes, including vendor assessments, documentation reviews, and security clauses in contracts.
  • Monitor compliance with internal security policies and support awareness initiatives across the organization. Provide input to periodic reporting, dashboards, and audit preparation related to governance and compliance activities. 

Required knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, IT, Risk Management, or a related field. 2–5 years of relevant experience in information security, risk, compliance, or IT governance.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g. NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. Proactive, communicative, and capable of working both independently and in teams. 
  • Experience with security incident coordination or third-party risk assessments is a plus
