Imec is looking for a hands-on, proactive, creative, and performance-driven Social & Paid Media Marketeer to take ownership of its organic and paid social media activities.

What you will do

In this role, you will develop, implement, execute, and optimize both organic and paid social media initiatives aimed at clearly defined audiences. You will work closely with colleagues from other marketing teams.
Your work will directly contribute to brand visibility, thought leadership, lead generation, and engagement with industry, academic, and policy stakeholders worldwide.

What you bring

  • Proven track record in social & paid media
  • Define and execute a clear social media strategy aligned with imec’s brand, positioning, and business objectives.
  • Own the day-to-day management of social media channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn as a primary B2B platform.
  • Use social media scheduling and publishing tools to manage content planning and execution efficiently.
  • Strong copywriting skills and consistency in messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across all social channels.
  • Design, launch, and optimize paid multiplatform campaigns targeting specific audiences, segments, and buyer personas.
  • Define targeting strategies based on roles, industries, geographies, interests, and account-based approaches.
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and performance benchmarks.
  • Continuously test creatives, formats, messaging, and audiences to improve performance.
  • Create and adapt copy for organic and paid social media content tailored to specific audiences.
  • Skills in easy-to-use design platforms like Canva, plus experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator).
  • Coordinate content calendars and campaign planning with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Monitor engagement, comments, and messages, and ensure timely and appropriate responses.
  • Track and analyze performance across organic and paid channels using dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Report on reach, engagement, conversions, and campaign impact to stakeholders.
  • Translate insights into concrete recommendations and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, advertising features, and evolving best practices in social and paid media.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required. Dutch is considered an asset.
