Co-founding CEO for Robotics spin-off

The assignment

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic CEO to lead an innovative robotics spin-off dedicated to revolutionizing the robotics industry by ensuring safe interactions with robots—initially for manufacturing and subsequently expanding into other robotic embodiments.
As a co-founder, the CEO will collaborate closely with the founding team during the pre-seed phase, strategically shaping the company's trajectory, defining core market strategies, and spearheading efforts to secure funding for the seed round.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, a deep understanding of robotics technology, and a proven track record in scaling startups and building strategic partnerships.

The start-up's mission is to redefine safety in robotics interactions. This mission will be realized by:

  • Safe Training Data: Leading the development of safe training data inputs for robotics to train cutting-edge physical AI models.
  • Safe Robotics: Transforming any industrial robot into a safe, high-speed, cage-free operating machine.

Required knowledge and skills

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading a robotics company, with a preference for start-up or scale-up environments.
  • Fundraising Expertise: Established network in the VC community and proven track record in fundraising.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of robotics and physical AI trends and developments. Hands-on experience in robotics and/or AI product development in order to shape efficiently the strategy and balance the long-term vision and short-term execution.
  • Customer-Centric Orientation: Experience in directly engaging high-value customers and partners to shape product strategy, accelerate market adoption, and build strategic relationships.

If you’re a leader passionate about the next generation of robots who has a proven ability to build investor confidence and close substantial funding rounds, we want to talk to you.

Join us in scaling groundbreaking robotics innovation, leveraging your fundraising expertise to accelerate growth, shape the industry’s trajectory, and lead the next generation of intelligent, safe automation.
