Customer Project Lead (High NA EUV Lithography) 

What you will do

As R&D customer Project Lead you represent the customer towards the HNA Lab. You will spend a large part of your time to support customers in defining their experimental plans, and occasionally host them in the HNA Lab cleanroom during their experiments. To do this efficiently you are expected to travel 1 to 2 times a week to ASML Veldhoven (NL) for face-to-face meetings with the customer and the operational teams of the HNA Lab. From now until 2026, you will work together in a team of 4 imec colleagues in this role. Afterwards, you can continue your career at imec Leuven especially in AP lithography team.

You will work together closely with external customers who want to execute experiments in the lab at ASML Veldhoven. You will help to translate the needs of the external customers into a set of clear instructions that the people in the lab will execute to complete the experiment. You will follow the experimental work carefully and pay attention to the quality of the work. After your training, you are sufficiently familiar with state-of-the-art high NA EUV lithography tool to evaluate if the tool works correctly and if they are being used correctly.  You are a real team player, that is open for suggestions from the experimental team, gives constructive feedback to the experimental team, and you report accurately to the external customer. Accuracy and quality are requirements in this high-tech environment.

Who you are

• Professional bachelor or master, in a technical area, such as physics, engineering, material science or chemistry; 
• You are experience in advanced lithography process especially in EUV lithography 
• You have interest, or experience, in process development in a high tech cleanroom 
• You can work independently and are proactive and attention to details 
• You are based in Leuven but willing to work on the HNA Lab project until 2026. This involves traveling 1 to 2 times a week to Veldhoven. Afterwards you can continue your career at imec Leuven; 
• You are an excellent project planner 
• You are experienced in working with external customers in demanding environment 
• You are an effective communicator and a collaborative team player, with a strong command of English. Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is an added advantage
